A Cop Went Fishing And Ended Up Reeling In $12 Million Worth Of Cocaine

VIA| If anybody reading this enjoys fishing, what do you consider a good catch? I attempted to fish once and didn’t catch anything but a cold, though I believe fish are the general aim. This cop must be a crime magnet because when he was off the beat fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, he reeled in 50 pounds of cocaine. Now, that’s a few lines on the end of his line, that’s for sure.

The discovery was made 25 miles off of Englewood Beach and the Florida Deputy who made the find is remaining anonymous for safety reasons but Sheriff Bill Prummell offered a comment on the situation, “We know cocaine is out there, we know it’s coming in through the waterways but it’s not something we see on a regular basis.”

Agents have since been trying to pinpoint the exact place where the haul was found, as well as attempting to catch anyone who may well be trying to look for it.

For the smugglers and dealers involved, I’m sure they’re shaking their heads in disbelief that it was a cop who happened to reel their cocaine in. After the recent discovery of a large amount of cocaine at a Tesco superstorein the UK, you have to wonder how these smugglers have been getting away with it for all this time.
